Privacy policy
Your privacy matters, especially when you are talking about your health. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are
This website is run by Xavier Goosse, trading as Smoking-Free.com ([legal status — to be completed], [address — to be completed]). We are the “controller” of your personal information. You can contact us about anything on this page at [contact email — to be completed].
When you simply visit the website
- No tracking. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and this website sets no cookies of its own.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the website and keep it secure. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a safe website, and these logs are kept only for a short time.
- Fonts are stored on our own website, so your browser does not contact Google or other font services.
The tools on this website
The savings calculator, the Bodily Effect body map and the profile questions all work inside your own browser. What you type or choose is not saved and not sent to us or anyone else.
When you book a call
Bookings are handled by Cal.com, a scheduling service. The booking calendar only loads when you click “Choose a time” — not before. When you book, you give us your name, email address and anything you choose to write in the booking form. We use this to arrange and hold your call, and to contact you about it. This is necessary to take the steps you asked for before any agreement with us.
Cal.com processes this information on our behalf and may use cookies or similar technologies that are needed for the calendar to work. You can read Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Your sessions and health information
During a call or session you may tell us about your health, habits and feelings. This is sensitive (“special category”) information. We only use it to support you, with your explicit consent, and we keep it confidential. We never share it with anyone else unless the law requires it or there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s.
How long we keep information
- Booking details: for as long as we need them to arrange and follow up your calls.
- Session notes and contact details of clients: for as long as you are working with us, and afterwards only as long as the law or our professional obligations require.
- Server logs: a short period set by our hosting provider.
Who else handles your information
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
- Cal.com, Inc. — booking calendar and booking emails.
Both are based in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We never sell your personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- limit how we use it, or object to how we use it,
- give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere,
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
Just write to [contact email — to be completed]. We will answer within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to [data protection authority — to be completed].
Age
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
